Batch Code & Traceability System
Whether you buy a 25 kg sack or a 250 gram bottle, every Argalingga product has a traceable Batch Code.
How to Read the Code:
[VILLAGE CODE]-[DATE]-[DRAPER ID]-[SHIFT]
Example: KLB-150624-SUPT-02
With this system, we can determine:
Which plantation this sugar comes from.
Who tapped the trees.
What time the sap was cooked.
Who was the Quality Control Officer who approved this batch.
This is our commitment to transparency.
Limited Tapping Yields
Premium tappers only harvest 1-2 liters of the best sap per tree per day. They don’t force the trees to produce more, as this would damage their quality and health.
Extra Time and Effort
Cooking premium sugar takes twice as long as regular sugar. It involves low heat, constant stirring, and additional drying. This is not a process that can be met with tight deadlines.
Certification and Lab Testing
The cost of international organic certification (EU, USDA, JAS) reaches tens of millions per year. This also includes the cost of routine laboratory testing for heavy metals, microbiology, and sugar content. This is an investment that regular producers don’t make.
